I love the back.
The front is certainly.....different
The F- sport....improves? it.
They all look like this anyway
Also the 250 is officially dead, as is a base model IS with AWD.

Yeah whatever -- now where the hell is my LC500?!

The tail lights are still terrible.

It’s like they’re trying to keep me away

Meh. Still looks like it melted.

I’m guessing your coworkers gave you weird looks when you took that selfie.

According to the Lexus.com configurator, these are all the IS trims:
IS Turbo RWD
IS Turbo F Sport RWD
IS 300 AWD
IS 300 F Sport AWD
IS 350 RWD
IS 350 AWD
IS 350 F Sport RWD
IS 350 F Sport AWD
I don’t know if they’re going to put an IS200t badge on the base model or what. The NX configurator also calls the base model the NX Turbo but its gallery has pics of an NX200t badge.

I actually like the current front better. This has too much ES in it.

Good. My Christmas bonus this year will put my budget over the top!

Jesus that’s a big mouth on that car.
Also, if it’s face lifted but the back changed...is that a butt lift?

I assumed they were out already. Saw knew at cars and coffee a couple weeks ago. I didn’t get a decent picture of it because of the constant crowd though.

Just me or do those look borrowed from the lancer?

They made it look more like a Scion iA from the front.

The IS250 AWD was garbage. That engine is horrid and slow.
The IS300 AWD is a far better vehicle than what it replaces. The IS200T should be a really fun sporty sedan once tuners get a hold of it.

Yes it has is200t badges. Look at my top pic.

Prob brought out by Lexus themselves.

Probably. Wasn’t paying attention.

Is there an aftermarket kit to replace the acres of honeycomb plastic on the front end?

There are tons of these in SF, they look ok, I like that mid size SUV they have, the NX, honestly they all look so much alike I can’t tell if one is bigger than the other. Is the RX bigger or it’s just an option/powertrain thing? I have a CRV now, I just have to have a smallish SUV in the city for going to work because all the construction and street repairs make the road like a farm road and mainly I can’t see anything up ahead in a low car, I need to plan ahead with bendy busses blocking the fucking intersection, dumbfuck uber/lyft drivers just blocking lanes whenever they feel like it.

The NX is about the size of a Rav 4, the RX is around the size of a Venza.
![]() 11/01/2016 at 12:53 |

I want the NX then, parking anything bigger than a CRV in SF parking garages is an adventure.

Wouldn’t be my choice but okay.

I’ve never really looked at one, I did the Lexus booth maybe 4 years ago for the auto show, I just buy 7 or so year old Japanese vehicles for commuters and keep them a while. My CRV is great, I will probably have it for some time.

OH GOD THEY MADE IT WORSE!!! HOW DID THEY MAKE IT WORSE??? I like the idea of the twisted-sheetmetal-into-the-taillight, but it’s not well executed.

Also I like your hair and shirt, but take issue with your tie. You really should go with a bolder/chunkier design.
